Material Specifications
While galvalume or galvanized coated steel is the most common material used, Wonder Arch Buildings are also available in stainless steel and aluminum for special jobs. Our steel arch buildings are available in the following commercial coatings:
- Galvanized
- Galvalume™
- Galvaneal
- Pre-painted material
Arches and accessories are also available in uncoated, copper-bearing, or heavy G110 or G-210 galvanized steel for specialized jobs.
AST buys prime, certified, structural quality steel and retains all steel certificates on file. All steel is bought by purchase order to minimum specifications as dictated by the engineering.
Galvalume™ is a registered trademark of BIEC International and carries a 25-year mill warranty against perforation and failure caused by corrosion.
Only structural bolts (Grade 5, Grade 8 or A325) bolts are used in Wonder Buildings.
